The ability to download programs from a Satellite was one of the Satellaview’s majorly advertised features.

Downloads were put up on a schedule for people to play, with programming being shuffled and recycled regularly.
Each download had it’s own set of restrictions – for example, select games could not be executed more than a set number of times. In spite of this, many of the games are cult classics.
