This game is pretty original. You can have many different kinds of matches including Street Fight, Scaffold, Balcony, Desert, and of course the regular match. The graphics are pretty good, nothing spectacular, but not bad either. The interface is rather difficult, so I wouldn't recommend this game to inexperienced users. The gameplay is strange - it's really hard to do moves or even grapple. There are many punches and kicks included, but not so many grappling moves. This game is really more of a shoo fighting game, but it's still fun. The wrestler design is not very good. The 10 wrestlers included are not real wrestlers and as I mentioned earlier, the wrestlers have very few moves - around four or five, not counting punches and kicks. There also is an edit mode, but it's not designed very well.
Also there is a way to get female wrestlers, although I have no idea how. I assume that you have to beat the game, or maybe there is a code.
Bottom line: Hybrid Wrestler is only good for one thing - gimmick matches. The scaffold and balcony matches are extremely fun.
