{"id":967,"date":"2011-07-01T09:30:04","date_gmt":"2011-07-01T16:30:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/superfamicom.org\/blog\/?p=967"},"modified":"2013-11-26T10:42:51","modified_gmt":"2013-11-26T17:42:51","slug":"ikaris-rom-dumps-featuring-super-bomberman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/superfamicom.org\/blog\/2011\/07\/ikaris-rom-dumps-featuring-super-bomberman\/","title":{"rendered":"Ikari&#8217;s ROM Dumps; featuring Super Bomberman."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I got these from Ikari about a week or so ago, but amongst some of the other Satellaview updates, they kinda had to wait &#8211; especially since one is kinda a real bummer.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, not the Super Bomberman one, though.<!--more--><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bsx.superfamicom.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/pics\/[ikari]%20Super%20Bomberman_001.bmp\"><\/img><br \/>\nWell, this looks like it can go right well along with <a href=\"http:\/\/eludevisibility.org\/super-bomberman-usa-sample\/\">that Super Bomberman Sample<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/superfamicom.org\/blog\/2010\/03\/new-roms-old-roms-same-difference\/\">the Super Bomberman 2 BS-ROM dump.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bsx.superfamicom.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/pics\/[ikari]%20Super%20Bomberman_002.bmp\"><\/img><br \/>\nNothing notably different from the JP Retail release gameplay-wise, in case anyone&#8217;s wondering. The ROM download date is 5\/3. The game was played to the limit, so the ROM is &#8220;locked&#8221; &#8211; I included a quick patch to unlock it, in case you&#8217;d rather play this on BSNES than SNES9X.<br \/>\n(EDIT: Weirdly enough, I can&#8217;t get the patched ROM to boot on BSNES properly &#8211; I end up getting a strange, glitched bootup. I assume it&#8217;s an emulation issue since it appears the game can play perfectly fine in SNES9X and it doesn&#8217;t fail a checksum check.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bsx.superfamicom.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/ROMs\/[ikari]%20Super%20Bomberman.zip\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bsx.superfamicom.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/pics\/[ikari]%20Super%20Bomberman_000.bmp\"><\/img><br \/>\nSuper Bomberman (BS)<br \/>\nROM Download<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, the major bummer?<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s this ROM;<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/bsx.superfamicom.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/ROMs\/[ikari]%20Bass%20Tournament%204%20(incomplete%20download)(b).zip\">An incomplete download (Bad ROM)<br \/>\nDownload<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Had this been a complete ROM, it could have been part 4 of &#8220;Naxat Soft Satellaview Bass Tournament &#8211; BIG FIGHT&#8221;. Unfortunately, I only have some details of the header telling me that much! It looks like the ROM didn&#8217;t progress very far downloading at all! \ud83d\ude41<br \/>\nWell, at least I know what the checksum of this would be&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>So, Ikari&#8217;s final dump for the time being?<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/bsx.superfamicom.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/ROMs\/[ikari]%20Kanaderu%20Convert%20RPG%20Maker%20Data.zip\"><br \/>\nEven More Kanaderu Convert Data (bs) (Data Pack)<br \/>\nDownload<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ikari and ChronoMoogle seem to like collecting these (possibly homemade) chunks of Ongaku Tsukuru Kanaderu data. Of course, it probably helps them that they can examine the contents better than I can &#8211; I&#8217;ve overheard them talking about some of these packs having things like recreated Chrono Trigger and\/or Final Fantasy music and whatnot.
