Y&#8217;see, I recently learned (thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/forums.hidden-palace.org\/viewtopic.php?t=2847\">This Hidden Palace Zone Thread<\/a>) that Japan actually got the Sega Channel. As in, the actual thing.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, I was kinda behind on that. And apparently I wasn&#8217;t the only one. I quickly ran through researching and came across a few articles&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.yahoo.co.jp\/rig_veda\/48897499.html\">Like this one.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gametanteidan.blog94.fc2.com\/blog-entry-113.html\">And this one.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>And was like &#8220;woaaahhmmggg&#8221;. I&#8217;d like to see the Japanese BIOs cart dumped at some point, now.<br \/>\nAnyway, I continued onward and eventually I came across this &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/vc.sega.jp\/vc_dyna2\/\">The Japanese webpage for &#8220;Dyna Brothers 2 Special&#8221; on the Virtual Console<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I went into immediate action to try to obtain this game, asking around various communities to see if someone could rip a VC WAD of it for me to extract the ROM from. Eventually, I got help for that thanks mostly to Geno and paul from #acmlm on irc.djbouche.net. Long story short, I got a new Megadrive ROM! <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Dyna Brothers 2&#8221; was a standard Megadrive game, but you&#8217;re probably wondering what&#8217;s in the &#8220;Special&#8221; edition&#8230;. here&#8217;s where Youtube comes in handy!<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"425\" height=\"344\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/q9CNPASrpdU&#038;hl=en_GB&#038;fs=1&#038;\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><\/object><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/kiddocabbusses.tryhappy.net\/notbs\/Dyna%20Brothers%202%20Special%20(J)%20(VC).zip\">I&#8217;m putting the ROM download up here, for anyone who&#8217;s interested!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m hoping that starting with this, I can learn a lot more about the Japanese version of the Sega Channel.<\/p>\n<p>For info on the US Sega Channel, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sega-16.com\/feature_page.php?id=186&#038;title=The%20Sega%20Channel:%20The%20First%20Real%20%22Downloadable%22%20Content\">this article is probably the most immediately informative one.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I would also highly recommend checking out this <a href=\"http:\/\/users.chartertn.net\/localh\/scdemo4.zip\">Sega Channel &#8220;Demo Cartridge #4&#8221; ROM.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been having relatively slow progress with finding new Satellaview material lately, but I was kinda tided over by some other stuff.
