After a bit of examining, and a redump to get it verified good, it&#8217;s about as ready for release as it will be!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/V3xsgnkNzgk?si=kGD1XSBlGyh01KvY\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve obtained episodes 2 and 4 of BS Fuurai no Shiren in the past, and Yankee found episode 3!<\/p>\n<p>As per usual with Soundlink games, here&#8217;s a bit of info on the premiere broadcast from the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20080216015016\/http:\/\/www.f3.dion.ne.jp\/~kameb\/satella\/st_slg.htm\">old Satellaview History Museum:<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>1996\/05\/11<br \/>\n\uff5e<br \/>\n1996\/05\/17\t\uff22\uff33\u98a8\u6765\u306e\u30b7\u30ec\u30f3\u3000\u30b9\u30e9\u30e9\u3092\u6551\u3048<br \/>\n\u7b2c\uff13\u9031\tVTR<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The ROM dump has a date of 4\/12 on the header, which I&#8217;d guess would mean it would be from a rerun the following year. Unfortunately, I can&#8217;t verify that, because archive.org did not preserve the April 1997 schedules the Satellaview History Museum used to have.<\/p>\n<p>This episode has the same behaviors as the previous two, so it&#8217;s a bit difficult to emulate if you don&#8217;t have Satellawave set up with the time channel server elements. SNES9X and BSNES are recommended for this.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bsx.superfamicom.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/pics\/%5BYankee%5D%20BS%20Fuurai%20no%20Shiren%20-%20Surura%20wo%20Sukue%20-%20Dai-3-wa001.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GQIBj6ieMac&#038;t=355s\">kukun kun has an archival recording of this.<\/a><br \/>\nDo note that the (again, similar to the other episodes) PSRAM data at the start and end of broadcast is not present in the ROM dump.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bsx.superfamicom.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/pics\/%5BYankee%5D%20BS%20Fuurai%20no%20Shiren%20-%20Surura%20wo%20Sukue%20-%20Dai-3-wa003.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Compared to episodes 2 and 4, episode 3 is where the difficulty starts to ramp up. In fact, it&#8217;s very possible to get into scenarios you can&#8217;t win in right off the bat, much like episode 4. That said, you can find an ally who, unlike Surura in episode 4, isn&#8217;t helpless and can be pretty useful.
