I popped BS Super Famicom Wars in SNESGT and played it a bit. From my Youtube description:
“This seems like a sort of little demo in comparison to the NP Version. Before you ask – these are the only characters, settings, and battle map I could select. There’s also a lot of missing polishes compared to the NP Version – I can’t seem to enable Battle and Fort Seizing animations for example.”
I looked into the matter further and, according to the Satellaview History Museum, there were actually 4 volumes of BS Super Famicom Wars released. They likely each had a different map. I’ll be on the lookout for more info.
